Davin Luce

Davin’s dance studies include ballet, modern, jazz and Ukrainian and he has been a student at Dance Unlimited, The School of Alberta Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensive where he was an Ali Pourfarrokh Full Tuition Scholarship student under the tutelage of George de la Pena, Francesca Corkle and Alexandra Proia. He has received the Alan Hooper Scholarship as a participant in the Banff Centre Training Program as a member of Young Dancers In Performance. Davin also attended the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in 2009 in New York City. He has performed in The Alberta Ballet School’s presentation of Paquita, The Alberta Ballet’s production of Christopher Wheeldon’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Joffrey Ballet School’s Summer Intensive in works by Gerald Arpino and John Magnus. Davin’s Ballet Kelowna repertoire includes The Sugar Plum
Cavalier, Snow Cavalier and The Rat King in The Nutcracker, as well as Bolero, Donizetti Dances, Indigo Moods, In Arden Woods, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet Appassionata, In Stride, Capture and stage within. This is Davin’s third season with Ballet Kelowna.
