Hot Holiday Homes Decking the Halls of Private Homes in Kelowna!

Debbie MacMillan and Ballet Kelowna are excited to announce Hot Holiday Homes, a self-guided tour of warm, welcoming, private homes that will get you in the spirit for your own holiday decorating.  Sponsored by Re/Max, tours will be held over two days, Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th from 4:00 - 9:00 pm celebrating the season while raising funds for Ballet Kelowna.

This community event is spearheaded by local dynamo Debbie MacMillan, Special Events Coordinator for Ballet Kelowna who promises a Santa checklist of ideas to dress up your own home for Christmas - both indoors and out!  "Hot Holiday Homes is a great way to kick-off your own holiday decorating.  You'll see what's hot in holiday décor, get a new spin on some old favourites and be totally inspired by the homes and designers while enjoying a real home atmosphere.  The tour is really popular for couple 'date nights', girlfriend get-togethers and client appreciation evenings."

Six beautiful private homes will be decorated by proud homeowners and talented designers for the tour.  Designers include Fowler Interior Design, Barbie Ross, Sticks and Stones Design Group, St. Nicholas Ave., Home at Last Interiors, LBV Design Dress Décor, olive & elle, Nesbitt Originals, Okanagan Dream Builders and Suzanne Petti.

The decorated homes include:

  • A European country-inspired home with a Mediterranean colour palette and old-world charm
A traditional home built in 2001 and almost completely transformed into a modern, almost
industrial design with stainless steel contrasting with traditional mouldings.
A home that is centered around a gorgeous "Chef" -certified kitchen where cooking & entertaining
      are always top of mind.
A beautiful multi-generational home that blends old and new with a private backyard oasis.
A lakefront home where classic comfort combines with theatre for a home filled with holiday magic
One of Kelowna's original properties restored and reborn with loving care and filled with the spirit of
a home of days gone by

The homes will also feature beautiful floral arrangements, wine and cocktail tastings, delicious snacks and trees decorated to showcase the designers talent.  One of the trees will be decorated by Annabel Stanley who decorated the Christmas tree for the Duke and Duchess of York in Buckingham Palace.

Tickets can be purcased online or Art Knapp, Bylands, LBV Design Dress Décor, olive & elle, Picture Perfect, Rick's Garden World.  Tickets are $40 before November 1st and $45 after.
