Hot Holiday Homes features six privately owned homes that have been decorated by the proud homeowners and talented designers for the holidays. Each of the homes is unique and has been decorated to highlight the personal flavor of the homeowner and the home's architectural style. The creative geniuses behind Artistic Designs, Home at Last Interiors, Inspire Designs, olive & elle, and Rafters along with the Interior Design students from the Centre for Arts & Technology will all inspire your own holiday decorating.
The decorated homes include:
A home bursting with personality and charm filled with fine art from the homeowners' daughter
An open concept home that is relaxed, stylish and sophisticated with surprising contrasts of colour giving the home memorable character and personality
A beautiful and unique home showcasing a stainless steel fireplace contrasting with period character giving the home a real sense of history
A traditional home whose homeowners' DIY approach has created a contemporary bed and breakfast.
A historic heritage home that is picture perfect for the holiday season and conjures memories of The Night Before Christmas storybook
A home where new and posh blend with collections of vintage and antique finds and a the homeowners love of fabulous chandeliers
In addition to the decorated homes, there are artists, wine tastings, food samplings, and musical entertainment and you may even spot a few Ballet Kelowna dancers from the Christmas classic - The Nutcracker - to keep us in the festive spirit.
If you are not 'crafty', there are also 6 amazing Christmas trees that have been professionally decorated and that will be auctioned off at the end of the November. Each tree has been designed and donated specifically for this event. If you are the successful bidder of one of these amazing trees - it will be delivered to your doorstep, fully decorated just in time for the holiday season.
Funds raised from Hot Holiday Homes support Ballet Kelowna who are celebrating their tenth anniversary season.
