Dinner, Dancing and Hockey team up for Pirouette fundraiser


 

 

What do six Okanagan chefs, hockey, a fishing trip, award winning wines and dancing all have in common?  All are part of Pirouette on Saturday, February 4th. This signature event for Ballet Kelowna is not your typical rubber chicken fundraising dinner. Six of the Okanagan’s top chefs have paired with five local wineries to create a gourmet feast.

 

Following dinner, incredible auction packages will be up for bid including a trip to Langara Fishing Lodge, a spot on the hockey roster at Bob Bourne’s Hockey Greats Fantasy Camp, a Ski Adventure with RBC Olympian Sylvia Kerfoot and over the top food and wine experiences. Entertainer Andrew Johns will have you up til the wee hours dancing the night away at our After Party so wear your dancing shoes!

Tickets are $250 which includes valet parking, safe ride home and a generous tax receipt.

The National Ballet of Cuba performs in Kelowna on inaugural Western Canada tour


Ballet Kelowna and the Kelowna Community Theatre are thrilled to co-present the National Ballet of Cuba for their first ever Western Canada tour. The tour includes Kelowna for two performances only,  Feb 11 & 12.

Under the direction of founder and Prima Ballerina Assoluto Alicia Alonso, named one of the greatest Giselle's of the 20th Century, the National Ballet of Cuba is a world renowned dance company. Their performance The Magic of Dance is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this legendary dance company.
