RauDZ Regional Table Launches 'Pearouette'
Big Thank YOUS to Chef Rod Butters and Audrey Surrao for hosting a wonderful launch of Pirouette's signature new cocktail Pearouette.
Liquid Chef Gerry Jobe wowed us with his very creative and well researched Pearouette cocktail introducing it with a narrative incorporating "spins, turns and a light touch on the tongue just like the dancers are light on their feet". The end result was beautiful, smooth and very delicious.
Gerry went to great lengths to incorporate local products such as Spirit Bear Gin (how cool is that name) by Urban Distilleries and Blackberry Liqueur from Okanagan Spirits. Thank you Mike Urban and Frank Deiter for donating your spirits so we can feature the Pearouette at our opening reception for Pirouette.
Liquid Chef Matt Majid shook things up with a demonstration of his flair bartending which won him the title of third in the world. Kamilah was a quick study and accepted the challenge to join in.
Rod and Audrey have given Pearouette prime positioning in their cocktail menu - right beside the Jingle Bell Margarita - currently their Number One seller. (look out Jingle Bell.....you're about to meet Pearouette:) And their generosity continued, as they announced that they will donate $.50 from every Pearouette sold to Ballet Kelowna!!!
