Dance with Ballet Kelowna
Ballet Kelowna is currently accepting applications for male and female dancers for the 2019-20 Season.
All dancers who apply must have completed classical ballet training at a recognized ballet academy or conservatory as well as contemporary training.
Strong improvisational and partnering skills are required.
Minimum Height for Male Dancers: 5’10” (1.78 m). Candidates measuring less than 5’10” (1.78) will not be considered.

Applicants must include a recent full body photograph and a link to video footage of the applicant's dancing.

Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs)
While helping to develop a marketing and communication plan for the 2019/20 season (July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020), the day to day focus of the Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant is to maintain, update, and assist with dissemination of Ballet Kelowna programming. This includes elements of graphic/website design, formal writing to support stakeholder communication (newsletters, press releases, brochures), assisting with events and programs as required, and assisting with the creation of content for social media platforms.
Funding for this position is made possible in part through the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program. The successful candidate will be an individual who:
is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment*; and,
have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible participants. International students include anyone who is temporarily in Canada for studies and who is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
